John has asked me to provide a recommendation based on the college search and planning services he provided for my daughter, wife, and I. John was brought into the college planning process for my daughter fairly late in the application process. We had a fair idea of the schools that she wanted to apply to but beyond that we were fairly lost in the process and having difficulty moving the process along. Once John was brought in he did an in depth meeting with my daughter, wife, and I. He reviewed all of her grades, recommendations from teachers, SAT scores, and delved deeply into what Isabelle’s goals were for college. After doing the in-depth interview John was very good at outlining goals and timelines for things that needed to be completed. He provided a solid structure for us to move forward in the process. John was also excellent at assisting in crafting the college essay my daughter used and assisted her with several revisions. My daughter had been quite stuck on the essay so this helped us move forward. John assisted in narrowing and defining the best colleges and universities for Isabelle to apply. He was also helpful in pointing out outside resources that were helpful with the FAFSA application. Overall I felt it was money well spend as it reduced the stress and time we had to spend on the process. It also enabled us to ensure were not wasting our time going in the wrong direction. I have two more children that will be headed to college soon and we will be utilizing Johns services for their college planning. To date my daughter has gotten into the first 2 colleges she applied to and received significant scholarship money.
